Lucas & Kite represents clients on a statewide basis and the Firm offers representation at all hearing levels throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. We provide in-house legal updates and information sessions for insurers, conduct on-site training workshops for employers and self-insureds, and provide assistance in developing medical panels and coordinating Independent Medical Evaluations. Our attorneys also serve as designated representatives for out-of-state insurers.

Welcome to Lucas & Kite
Richard D. Lucas began his law career in 1982 representing employers, self-insureds and insurance companies in workers' compensation and other insurance matters. On July 1, 2001, he founded Lucas Law Firm, focused exclusively on representing employers and insurers in workers' compensation matters. In November 2007, Christopher M. Kite joined the firm as a shareholder. The Firm changed its name to Lucas & Kite, PLC. There are currently five attorneys. In addition, Lucas & Kite employs eight paralegals and legal assistants who each bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the area of workers' compensation.
